The OpportunityThe Regional Manager position has responsibility for achieving exceptional results by growing our National business within the Mackay region. This will be achieved by developing and executing a regional strategy that aligns with our National and Aon business strategy, delivers cultural change and ensures development and engagement of a strong team who are empowered to make a difference at Aon.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the team within the Aon Mackay branchLeading a team of Client Managers directly, who provide insurance broking services to a diverse group of clients of various industriesDrive improved levels of consistency across branches throughout the regionCoaching and supporting the team in conducting local market planningDeveloping a talent strategy for your regionManaging a P&L and delivering financial forecasts for the regionExecute sales and growth strategies to deliver on financial and strategic targets, new business sales and cross selling to key clientsExecute client excellence to achieve financial and strategic targets, retention, cross selling and reduce errors & omissionsDevelop and build relationships with top clients within the regionDeveloping and managing key stakeholder relationships including with clients, insurers, partnerships, associations and internal stakeholdersAbout youInsurance experience, preferably Broking experiencePeople Leadership, strong ability to coach and engage teamsCommercially minded and numerically astuteAbility to manage and influence senior stakeholdersKnowledge and understanding of financial reporting requirements and strong P&L managementSenior Leadership experienceAchieved superior financial success driving results across a State or RegionSuccess leading high performing teams and leading cultural changeSuccess leading geographically dispersed teamsDemonstrated results executing a talent strategyChange management / cultural changeAbout UsWe''re a team focused on providing exceptional value to our clients and our local communities.
