Director Institute of Leadership The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) is the national, professional body representing, educating and connecting Australia''s vibrant community of nurses. Position Summary The Institute of Leadership is responsible for strategically developing, leading, and implementing ACN''s prestigious and innovative leadership programmes, initiatives and events to support nurses at all career stages, extending their leadership skills and confidence. Key Responsibilities Strategically develop, lead, and implement leadership programmes, initiatives and events for nurses. Design learning programs and present workshops that meet employer and industry needs. Manage and develop stakeholder relationships and build networks. Collaborate across internal and external customer groups to influence outcomes. Coordinate the delivery of training and events while maintaining high standards of quality. Selection Criteria A qualification in nursing and leadership development or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated knowledge of the nursing profession and contemporary leadership development. Minimum of five years'' experience in leadership development roles and/or management roles. Experience in designing learning programmes and presenting workshops relevant to employer and industry needs. Proven ability to manage and develop stakeholder relationships and build networks. Commercial acumen. Proven ability and willingness to work collaboratively and influence diverse internal and external customers. Demonstrated highlevel written and verbal communication skills. Proven welldeveloped interpersonal, problemsolving and timemanagement skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a high volume and deadlinedriven environment while maintaining a high standard of work. Desirable Registered or eligible for registration as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
