About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Blaster/Painter with a strong background in Production to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be part of a team of tradespeople to ensure timely, costeffective, and highquality outcomes. Employment Type: Full Time-PermanentSalary: $76,515.00 to $80,000.00 What you will be required to do Prepare, clean, and strip metal surfaces through abrasive blasting. Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants for optimal coating adhesion. Operate and maintain abrasive blasting equipment. Mix and match paints and coatings according to specifications. Apply industrial coatings using airless and conventional spray equipment, rollers, and brushes. Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth, even finish. Operate and maintain painting equipment safely. Follow workplace safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and ventilation. To be successful in the role you will have (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar role. Knowledge of different painting techniques, coatings, and equipment. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces. Ability to set up, use and maintain abrasive blast and spray equipment. Minimum 2 years experience in painting and blasting, ideally within the structural steel or heavy equipment industry. Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating techniques, including abrasive blasting and industrial-grade paint application. Solid understanding of painting materials, blasting processes, and surface treatment methods. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality finishes. Demonstrated experience in airless and conventional spray painting. Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening. #J-18808-Ljbffr
