If you have a passion for preparing healthy meals and creating a positive food experience for young children, we want to hear from you.THE ROLEAs a Centre Cook, youll be responsible for preparing nutritious and allergy-aware meals for children aged 0-5, following centre-specific menus and food safety standards. Youll also manage kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with relevant health regulations.Your daily tasks will include:Planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for childrenFollowing food safety and allergy management proceduresEnsuring kitchen cleanliness and compliance with Food Safety StandardsCatering for dietary restrictions and cultural preferencesOrdering and managing stock levels within budgetSupporting a welcoming and positive mealtime culture in the centreABOUT YOUYoure organised, passionate about child nutrition, and understand the importance of safe and enjoyable food experiences in a childs early development.Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant qualificationFood Handling and Hygiene CertificateKnowledge of childrens nutrition and dietary requirementsWorking With Children Check (WA)Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma CertificatesUnderstanding of Food Safety Standards (including HACCP procedures)Experience working in early childhood or school-based environmentsFood Safety Supervisor CertificatePositive attitude, strong communication, and a collaborative mindsetIN RETURNHourly Rates in line with the WA Cleaning Services Award (plus Super)Flexible Shifts Day, Evening, and Weekend options availableLocations: Seville Grove, Coogee both SORNext Step - Remember your Vacancy ID and Click Apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
