(Permanent, full-time 76-hour, 9-day fortnight) Rare opportunity based out of our Harden Works Depot, to advance your career in Open Spaces. Remuneration up to $77k p.a. + allowances + 12% Superannuation. Excellent learning & development, health & wellbeing and career progression opportunities available across Council. As Open Spaces Crew Leader, you will oversee a vast range of construction & maintenance tasks in our cemeteries, parks, gardens, streetscapes, sporting ovals and amenities. Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in successfully overseeing a small multiskilled team in a horticulture or landscape construction setting, combined with relevant qualifications and experience/competency in operation of a variety of items of tools/plant. This is a great chance to progress you career in Open Spaces and be upskilled and trained to further develop your skills while you work. Please be advised that successful applicants may be expected to work reasonable overtime from timetotime or as part of a rotating oncall roster (shift penalties/oncall allowances would be applicable). While generally expected to work from the Harden depot, you can be requested to commence work, and lead crews of staff from any of the depots across Hilltops.
