Site Supervisor - Civil Construction Location: Traralgon, Victoria start date 26th January for an initial 6month contract, possibility to go permanent upon successful completion. The Company Randstad is exclusively partnering with an exciting concrete structures and civil contractor based in Melbournes Southeast. Offering a comprehensive range of services including concreting, steel fixing, formwork, civil/industrial plumbing, and excavations, this business delivers to ASX listed companies across Victoria. The Role As the Site Supervisor, you will be the key operational leader on site, responsible for the planning, execution, and handover of diverse concrete construction projects. Your strong focus on safety, quality, and effective team leadership will be essential to success. Key Responsibilities Oversee and direct the concrete construction team, including subcontractors and trades, ensuring highquality works at all times. Be the onsite leader for safety, strictly adhering to all WHS regulations and client OHS policies. Complete and close out Work Permits and required OHS documentation. Drive a proactive site culture taking genuine pride in delivering quality works. Act as the primary onsite contact for the client, contractors, and deliveries. Liaise effectively with clients, internal management, administration, and trades. Project Management & Administration Plan construction works, contribute to the construction program, and ensure the project follows the schedule as closely as possible. Organise materials (including ordering concrete/quarry products) and subcontractors in a timely manner to maintain workflow. Complete daily prestart forms and site diaries with descriptive notes. Log employee/subcontractor hours and deliveries. Upload site photos and enter delay details. Complete Incident Reports and ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) as required. Access and update programs, drawings, and documents. What We''re Looking For Proven experience as a Site Supervisor / Manager in civil or concrete construction. Strong knowledge of efficient and effective concrete construction methodologies. Expert understanding and commitment to WHS compliance and OHS policies. Proficiency in using Procore (or similar project management software) and MS Project is highly regarded. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
