Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, dynamic and experienced Construction Site Manager for a major commercial build of our world class West Lakes retirement village overlooking the West lakes golf course. This is a handson role requiring strong leadership, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fastpaced environment. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering highquality projects safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Contractor Management: Lead onsite teams and subcontractors, manage claims and payments, and ensure compliance with scopes and safety documentation. Develop and monitor shortterm programs (46 weeks) and project schedules. EOH&S Compliance: Enforce Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety standards and implement the Safety Management Plan. Site Setup & Organisation: Oversee site establishment, welfare facilities, and daily safety/security operations. Quality & Materials Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards, manage material deliveries, and coordinate waste removal. Prepare technical reports, RFIs, and site instructions. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company and client interests, manage variations, and support business development. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare technical and progress reports, assist with budgeting, and monitor project timelines. What Were Looking For Valid Builders Licence and Supervisors Certificate in SA (or equivalent). Minimum 10 years experience in basement and multistorey construction up to 8 levels. Proven experience in site management within commercial or retirement living projects over $50million. Proficient in Procore and Bread Crumb. Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills. Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards. Proven ability to manage project planning, read site plans, scheduling, and site operations. High attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance. Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and contracts.
