What Youll Be Doing Provide safe, compassionate, personcentred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of maternity care. Work 8hour solo shifts (77) in the maternity ward of Broken Hill Hospital. Care for admitted ante/postnates and specialcare nursery babies. Act as second midwife at birth, providing support and mentorship to students and junior midwives. Assist on the ward and for intrapartum care as needed in collaboration with consultant locum obstetricians and a closeknit team of BMids, newgraduate midwives and students.
