Murwillumbah, New South Wales Full-time Working in our highperforming Communication, Engagement and Media team and as a business partner with Council services, your role will be to inform, educate and engage the Tweed community and our workforce so they get the most out of Council programs and services. We have opportunities available to flex your comms and engagement skills to support these business partners: corporate services (including internal comms, governance, finance, information technology and the Office of the General Manager); planning, business, and events; engineering/roads and infrastructure projects. Youll be at the centre of Councils communication, marketing, engagement, and event effortsworking alongside a supportive, valuesdriven team of Communication and Engagement Business Partners and with Business Partners who need your expertise to solve their communication and engagement needs. From delivering standout marcomms campaigns and supporting community engagement projects, to promoting events that bring people together, youll help ensure Councils programs and services are seen, celebrated, and understood. Your work will connect our community with the council initiatives that are part of their everyday. This is a handson role where youll collaborate across Council, embrace digital tools, champion plain language, and drive strong branding. A natural storyteller and visual communicator who can craft clear, plainlanguage content across print, digital, social, and video channels. Handson skills in developing and delivering communication and engagement plans that connect communities and celebrate achievements. Creative flair for producing innovative campaigns and promotional solutions that are onbrand and cut through the noise. Confidence with digital tools and web technologies to create, publish, and evaluate impactful content. A collaborative team player and customer focus with flexibility to support events, engagement activities, and occasional outofhours commitments.
