As the Deli Manager at Peries IGA Supermarket Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the deli department. Working in a fulltime capacity, you will be based in Edmonton, Queensland and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running and profitability of this key department. What youll be doing Managing and leading the deli team, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management Ensuring high standards of customer service and product quality in the deli Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, optimise product offerings and improve operational efficiency Monitoring stock levels, placing orders and managing inventory to minimise waste and maintain optimal stock levels Adhering to all relevant health, safety and food hygiene regulations Reporting on key metrics and contributing to the overall performance of the store What were looking for Significant experience in a deli / caf management or senior deli team role, ideally within a supermarket or grocery environment Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent customer service orientation and problemsolving abilities Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well under pressure Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations What we offer At Peries IGA Supermarket Group, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
