About The Role The primary purpose of this onsite role is to support the Ministry of Health Records Disposal Project to digitise its hardcopy records, in accordance with Government and Departmental legislative and policy requirements. The role is responsible for sorting boxes containing physical records, scanning Ministry records, destroying records approved for destruction and related administrative tasks. Scan hardcopy records in accordance with established policies and procedures, including data entry of information into the electronic records management system. Process destruction of hardcopy records in accordance with established policies and procedures. Process closed files for archival submission to Museums of History, NSW and support the retrieval of requested files on behalf of Ministry of Health. Ensure privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. About You We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with providing support, advice and assistance regarding records management processes, policies and procedures. Demonstrated experience in a general office environment. Demonstrated proactive approach, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality service outcomes. Comfortable with repetitive, processbased tasks. Excellent communication skills. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
