About the role: Reporting to the Nursing Director State wide & Speciality Services, some of your duties for the role will include: Providing a consistent approach to the provision of RNBU services as outlined in the RNBU Models of Care Initiating and leading quality and service improvement activities, which may include research activities where appropriate Determining Allied Health team and quality procedures and processes within existing and future RNBU services, and ensuring appropriate and effective implementation and evaluation of these models Promoting a workplace that supports team development and leadership within the clinical area of expertise Provide consultancy and peer support on complex cases About you: Clinical experience as a senior allied health practitioner, including clinical experience with complex patients Recent experience working with older persons mental health Ability to apply specialist skills in assessing and resolving clinical problems in multi-disciplinary consultation and liaison Demonstrated leadership skills; an ability to promote teamwork within the department and with other health professionals Ability to assume a high level of professional responsibility and to function at a high level of professional competence and autonomy Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
