You''ll be responsible for providing maintenance and support to our nonprocess infrastructure (NPI) essential facilities like camps, water systems, and fuel depots. This is a fulltime, permanent position on an 8:6 roster ex Perth to Mt Holland.ResponsibilitiesUndertake all work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with statutory requirements and Covalent policies & proceduresPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on NPI assetsPerform daily maintenance tasks on mechanical assets such as generators, including topping up fuel, checking oil and coolant levels and completing visual inspections over assetOperate Vac Truck to empty building sewage casettesOperate Water Truck to refill site water tanksOperate Fork Lifts & TelehandlersWork alongside other technicians and trades to carry out maintenance and repair tasks when requiredIdentify faults in the systems and equipmentIdentify ways to improve efficiencies and help reduce costsDocument activities, work order completions, and other relevant details accurately in the maintenance management system (SAP)RequirementsCurrent Western Australian ''HR'' Class Drivers LicencePrevious experience in village, aerodrome, water treatment, power generation and other NPI operationsExperience operating heavy rigid trucks (e.g., TilyTray Flatbed Trucks, Vac Trucks, Service Trucks)Experience performing daily maintenance on mechanical assets such as generators, including topping up fuel, checking oil and coolant levels and completing visual inspections over assetExperience operating Forklifts / TelehandlersExperience operating any other forms of machinery like skid steers, excavators, loaders (advantageous)Ability and willingness to participate in an oncall roster, including afterhours availabilityA competitive remuneration package commensurate with the role, candidate experience, skills and qualificationsEqual Employment OpportunityCandidates from all backgrounds and ages are encouraged to apply, including First Nations People, those who identify as LGBTIQ+, people with disabilities and those with neurodiverse, intersectional, or multiple diverse characteristics.
