Cabonne Council has several opportunities to undertake a qualification and gain valuable work experience in Council operations, offering a number of traineeships and apprenticeships. Administration Trainee This traineeship is over one year. You will complete a certificate 3 in business administration during this time, working in the infrastructure department within a small team, based in our Cudal office. This position will work a 35-hour week with a 9-day fortnight. Qualifications (Desirable): Completion of Year 11 or 12. Class C drivers licence (or Provisional Licence). Town Presentation (Parks & Gardens) Apprentice This Apprenticeship is over three years. You will complete a certificate 3 in parks and gardens during this time, working within the town presentation team based in Molong. This position will work a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight. Qualifications (Desirable): Completion of Year 10 or higher. Construction Induction Certification (White Card). Class C drivers licence (or Provisional Licence). Town Presentation (Horticulture) Apprentice This Apprenticeship is over three years. You will complete a certificate 3 in horticulture during this time, working within the town presentation team based in Molong. This position will work a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight. Qualifications (Desirable): Completion of Year 10 or higher. Construction Induction Certification (White Card). Class C drivers licence (or Provisional Licence). Water Operations Trainee This traineeship is over two years. You will complete a certificate 3 in water industry operations during this time, working within the water utilities team based in Molong. This position will work a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight. Qualifications (Desirable): Completion of Year 10 or higher. Construction Induction Certification (White Card). Class C drivers licence (or Provisional Licence). These roles are full-time temporary positions.
