Vets of Geelong is seeking an experienced and confident Veterinarian to join our Lara Clinica tight-knit, community-focused team within our family-owned and operated practice group. This role is ideal for a capable vet with 2+ years experience who enjoys a mix of consulting, surgery, and emergency medicine, and whos ready to step into a more independent and professionally rewarding position. Youll be part of our broader Vets of Geelong family, supported by clinics across Highton, Geelong West, and Lara. While collaboration is always encouraged, this position offers the autonomy to manage your clinical days confidently, knowing you have the trust, systems, and backing of a well-established, progressive veterinary group. About the Role This position is primarily based at our modern Lara Clinic, where youll play a key role in continuing to build and deliver high-quality care to our loyal and growing client base. Youll enjoy a blend of handson case management and professional freedom, working across all areas of small animal general practice. Your responsibilities will include: Performing consultations and surgery to a high clinical standard. Managing cases independently from start to finish with excellent client communication. Maintaining accurate records and upholding best practice standards. Collaborating with our wider veterinary and nursing team across all Vets of Geelong sites. About You Youre a capable and professional veterinarian with a cando attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team. Youll thrive in an environment that values integrity, compassion, and teamwork, and youre motivated to deliver excellent outcomes for pets and their people. Youll Bring: A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in small animal practice. Confidence managing consultations, surgeries, and occasional emergency cases.
