Cyber & Tech Risk (C&TR) Practice The mission of our Cyber & Tech Risk practice is to increase public trust and participation in government digital services, a key driver in improving Australias productivity, equality, resilience and prosperity. Our subject matter specialists bring scale and expertise across all phases of cyber transformation covering advisory and assurance, privacy and data governance, digital identity, technology implementation, and ongoing security operations. Cyber Advisory Team We help our clients identify, measure and manage the cyber risks they carry. By assessing weaknesses in defences, developing strategies and roadmaps to drive maturity, and supporting implementation of people, process and technology changes, our consultants enable organisations to navigate complex cyber environments. A typical day involves mastering cyber frameworks (NIST, PSPF/ISM, ISO270k, etc.), facilitating a cyber crisis simulation, and advising CISOs, CIOs and CROs on strategic changes. The Role and Responsibilities Work as part of a team of consultants on a broad range of engagements in Cyber Risk Management, Strategy, Governance & Culture, and Cyber Transformation. Leverage your advisory and consulting skills to deliver highquality outcomes to clients through handson delivery and coaching to junior team members. Take ownership and accountability to deliver outcomes on client engagements, leveraging the broader team as required to ensure success. Support development of new capabilities, products and services based on market demand. Spend first 6 months working in our internal team with our CISO ensuring enterprise risk management. Qualifications Demonstrated industry experience working with organisations implementing cyber security controls. A working understanding of common cyber security frameworks used by Australian government organisations (e.g., ISM/PSPF, ISO270k, NIST CSF, VPDSF, SACSF, etc.). Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver tasks on a project under time pressure. Desired but not mandatory: qualifications and certifications in recognised industry accreditations such as AWS and/or Microsoft Cloud certifications, SANS GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), CISA, ISO27001 training, Chartered Security Architect Foundation Certificate (SCF), FAIR Analysis Fundamentals, or CompTIA.
