We provide a suite of financial, ICT, procurement, and supply, and workforce services to more than 65,000 employees across WA''s public health services and hospitals. Put simply, we work behind the scenes to ensure the WA health system runs smoothly. Your new role Join Health Support Services (HSS) as Principal Consultant Office of the Chief Information Officer. This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time and Fixed Term Full Time appointment(s) with the possibility of extension(s) and / or permanency. Health Support Services (HSS) is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Consultant to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO), within the Office of the CIO in the ICT Business Unit. This pivotal executive role is ideal for a strategic professional with proven expertise in governance, reporting oversight, and advisory functions. Success will depend on exceptional stakeholder engagement, so outstanding communication skills, adaptability, and strong organisational capability are essential. What youll do Deliver professional, executive-level support to the CIO and ICT Senior Leadership Team, including preparing agendas, executive papers, briefing notes, reports, and presentations. Oversee and coordinate reporting arising from projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity. You will also apply project methodologies across a variety of tasks, such as audits and subsequent remediation. Advise on policy, planning, and governance matters, contributing to organisational development and reform initiatives. Manage confidential initiatives, coordinate consultants, and report on outcomes. Serve as the key liaison for ICT executive matters, maintaining oversight of commitments and supporting cross-functional collaboration. Champion a customercentric culture, quality management, and continuous improvement across the organisation. What you wont do You will not be configuring systems, coding, or managing technical infrastructure. Instead, you will be at the centre of executive decisionmaking, governance, and strategic reporting. Were looking for Demonstrable experience in executive administration, governance, reporting, and organisational skills. Exceptional communication, analytical, and problemsolving abilities. Capacity to work independently and influence senior stakeholders. Strong expertise in policy development, project methodologies, and strategic planning.
