NHS Locum Consultant Gastroenterology - 12-24 Months Fixed TermWe have been asked by an NHS Foundation Trust in the East of England to recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist on a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.Located near some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK with excellent schools and lovely coastline.Our client is recognised as an exemplar employer by BAPIO and offers outstanding health and wellbeing initiatives to support its staff and supports its Consultants to apply for Fellowship to which they are an affiliated member.There is strong collaboration with the Upper and Lower GI surgical teams to provide effective management of Gastroenterology patients, including an established MDT structure, stoma nurses and Specialist GI Radiology service.Colon capsule endoscopy is done onsite together with ERCP and GI stent procedures are done in dedicated intervention screening lists.ResponsibilitiesProvide consultant level gastroenterology care with involvement in MDT discussions for GI patients.Perform or supervise colon capsule endoscopy, ERCP and GI stent procedures in dedicated intervention lists.Collaborate with Upper and Lower GI surgical teams and GI radiology to manage patient pathways.Lead and contribute to a supportive team environment and ongoing service development.Qualifications & ExperienceMRCP and GMC registration are required as a minimum.CESR opportunity for those seeking specialist registration.Experience in leadership within a gastroenterology service is desirable.BenefitsAdditional PA''s availableOutstanding schools, affordable housingSPA''s availableMajor facilities investmentFellowship support and encouragementTo find out more about this Locum Consultant Gastroenterology vacancy, please apply now and submit your CV.
