You may choose to be based in our Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide office for this role.Reporting to the General Manager, Digital Solutions, your role has the opportunity to leverage your experience and passion for GIS to drive excellence in project delivery. You will be collaborating with clients, account managers, project leads and consultants to define business requirements, scope solutions and oversee successful implementation delivery.ResponsibilitiesAssisting with tender submissions and provision of technical responses that demonstrate understanding of requirements and alignment with Woolpert''s capabilities and compelling value proposition.Supporting the Business Development team with technical input during bid preparation (including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) ensuring Woolpert''s solution proposals meet all functional and non-functional requirements including financial metrics.Performing deployment, configuration, and support of VertiGIS suite of products, ESRI suite of server & desktop products.Performing application testing and quality assurance on a project-by-project basis, and performing server/network administration, troubleshooting and technical review.Collaborating with clients to explore their business needs and propose solutions which demonstrate Woolpert''s thought leadership to the Woolpert digital consulting team and leverage the full potential of GIS in their organization.Developing solution prototypes against industry or specific customer requirements and extend existing solutions to support current and emerging GIS patterns including 3D digital twins.Travel to client sites, conferences, seminars, and trade shows may be required to deliver projects and to represent Woolpert in the marketplace.QualificationsTertiary degree in relevant discipline (such as computer science, software engineering, mathematics, survey, GIS or geomatics).Minimum 10 years'' experience managing and implementing enterprise ITGIS solutions/systems, preferably using ArcGIS and or VertiGIS/Geocortex enterprise platforms.Experience with current technology implementation patterns including serviceoriented cloud computing architecture and RESTful API''s.Team leadership experience in a professional service''s technical delivery capacity.Preferred Experience and CertificationsSolution Architect Certification for AWS or Azure.Experience delivering IT products and services.5+ years'' experience working in a professional service consulting environment and interacting externally with clients.Proven ability to diagnose business problems and seek creative solutions in complex environments.Woolpert BenefitsLongterm rewards through the Principal Program, giving employees the opportunity to become stakeholders in the company and benefit directly from its growth and success.Automatic Salary Continuance Insurance provided by the company.Novated leasing and salary sacrifice options to help you get more value from your income.Reimbursements and study leave options for members wishing to continue formal education with rolerelated courses.Flexible work arrangements, subject to operational requirements.Access to confidential Employee Assistance Program and discounted voluntary corporate health insurance through Bupa.Please be advised that applications submitted via recruitment agencies (or approaches to the management team/employees) will not be considered.
