Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse | Marion | CasualWe are looking for an Urgent Care Practice Nurse Enrolled Nurse to join our Marion Urgent Care Service. As a vital team member, you will provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients presenting to the Urgent Care Service receive appropriate care in collaboration with the Registered Nurses (RN).ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, with approximately 60% clinical workflow and 40% administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.Support patient services, greet and assist patients, monitor the appointment book, register and update registration details as required.Assist the RN in providing high-quality patient care for injuries or illnesses.Perform care activities including history assessments, administering medications, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education.Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with ForHealth policies and procedures.Provide guidance related to inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone as required.Provide high-quality, comprehensive documentation in all patient files.Participate in workplace health and safety practices, reporting all incidents and hazards as per ForHealth policies.About YouCurrent AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.Flexible and available evenings and weekends.Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency settings, with focus on acute injury and illness management and fast-track patient flow.2 years of acute clinical medical, surgical orthopaedic nursing experience is mandatory.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.Passion for patient-centered care and a personable approach.What We Offer20% off dental treatments for you and your familyFitness Passport discounted gym benefits for you and your family24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Health insurance discountsProvided uniformsFree onsite parkingOngoing training, development and supportBetter work-life balance No more night shiftsJoin us in creating a healthier Australia and be part of a company that values training, development, and internal promotion.
