Replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures. Maintain and service backup generators and emergency systems. Ensure all electrical installations comply with local safety and building codes. Perform preventative maintenance schedules on electrical systems and equipment. Support other maintenance staff with multi-disciplinary tasks when needed. Respond to guest or staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Keep records of all work, inspections, and maintenance performed. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and schematics. Ability to diagnose issues with minimal supervision. Understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance is a plus. Good communication and interpersonal skills (especially for guest-facing situations). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Time management and ability to prioritize urgent tasks. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Electrical trade certification or journeyman license (varies by country or region). 2+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or commercial environment. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is advantageous. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and be on-call as needed.
