We are looking for a Supermarket Store Manager for our independent supermarket based at Caboolture.We are very proud of what we have delivered to our local community and are seeking an experienced Store Manager who can assist us to take things to the next level.We are after a passionate, energetic, people friendly, hands on, experienced person to run the day to day operations of the supermarket, working Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends. Ideally, you will have been working in the retail industry for a number of years, have experience managing a team of people and have a thorough understanding of the logistics involved in delivering great customer shopping experiences.ResponsibilitiesEngaging with our customers to ensure that we are exceeding their expectations on a daily basisWorking with your team to deliver the highest level of merchandising standardsWorking with our Point of Sale system to place and receive orders, manage stock takes, process host files, maintain pricing and print labels and shelf talkersOrganising, training, motivating and leading a teamWorking with the supermarket management team to ensure our complete offering is of the highest standardsWorking with the head office management team to ensure our organisational strategies are being executedMaintaining a safe and clean work environment and complying with all relevant legislationQualifications / RequirementsA passion for outstanding customer service and ability to mentor your teamBe able to work in a hands on, fast paced environment and think on your feetA minimum of 3 years experience in management of a supermarket environment and managing a teamProven ability in managing inventoryStrong produce knowledge and merchandising experience would be highly regardedPrevious Food Safety experienceA sound knowledge of supermarket best practiceExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) to complete administration tasksRetail passion and experienceIf you have extremely high standards, are decisive, work well with others and can do what it takes to meet deadlines, this role presents an ideal opportunity for you to further your career with an industry leading retailer.Should you wish to be considered for this role, please forward your resume together with a cover letter in support of your application.
