This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape video strategy and production for Australia''s leading women''s media company, working with iconic titles while driving innovation in digital storytelling. You''ll be at the forefront of content creation, combining creative vision with strategic thinking to engage millions of audience members across multiple platforms.DutiesDevelop and execute comprehensive video content strategies aligned with brand objectives and audience insightsLead end-to-end video production including concept development, scripting, filming, editing, and post-productionCreate and optimise video content for various platforms including social media, websites, YouTube, and emerging digital channelsMentor junior producers and coordinate with freelance videographers, editors, and creative teamsWork closely with editorial teams across Are Media''s portfolio to ensure brand consistency and content qualityMonitor video performance metrics, analyse audience engagement, and implement data-driven improvementsCollaborate with marketing, sales, and external partners to deliver integrated content solutionsMaintain high production standards while managing budgets, timelines, and technical requirementsSkills and experienceExperience in lifestyle, homes, fashion, or women''s mediaKnowledge of SEO, analytics tools, and content performance measurementMotion graphics and animation capabilitiesUnderstanding of influencer marketing and branded contentPhotography skills and experience with live streaming/broadcastCreative storyteller with strong visual aestheticExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAdaptable and thrives in fast-paced environmentsCollaborative team player with stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented with commitment to quality and deadlinesAre Media is a proud member of Media Diversity Australia, a not-for-profit organisation working towards a media landscape that looks and sounds like Australia.
