RSCM Corporate Services Pty Ltd Richmond TAS The General Maintenance Officer is a central role within RSCM Corporate Services Pty Ltd. The main purpose of this role is to provide general maintenance support and lease compliance tasks across a range of clients. Reporting to Project Coordinator, this is a role that requires exceptional attention to detail and reliability. You will be required to work with some level of autonomy. This role will work closely with Director, as well as Clients. To be successful in this role, you will have drive, determination and the ability to work with some level of autonomy. Previous work experience in maintenance is desired. The role is primarily based in Richmond, Tasmania, with travel to clients required. A work vehicle will be provided to complete duties and to travel. What were looking for: A General Maintenance Officer to work 20-30 hours per week, with days and hours to be negotiated at the interview stage, with the option to increase to full time upon completion of the probation period. The key attributes and skills required for this role are: Works to a high standard with strong attention to detail and pride in presentation Clean, tidy and organised, keeps sites, vehicles, and tools neat and leaves jobs well-finished Comfortable with outdoor work and routine property presentation tasks Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Ability to work independently and follow directions Friendly, professional communication Ability to priorities multiple tasks Good presentation and a pleasant manner Ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment, whilst balancing competing interests Ability to work independently, and collaboratively, as part of a dynamic team Qualifications/Licences that you will have: Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania) (current, or willing to obtain) White Card Working at Heights Ability to follow WHS requirements, including safe use of ladders, PPE, and site risk controls Key Responsibilities General maintenance and handyman repairs (minor carpentry, patching, fittings/hardware, basic repairs Garden care (mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, green waste removal) Landscaping tasks (tidy-ups, planting, mulching, basic irrigation checks as required) Roof gutter cleaning and basic roof/stormwater checks (where safe and appropriate) Inspections, identifying maintenance issues and reporting them Assisting with small projects as directed Keeping tools, work areas and sites clean, safe and organised Travel to other sites in Tasmania as required Time keeping and allocation of completed tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr
