Dog Foster Carer - Assistance Dog in training Dog Foster Carers are needed to home and help train assistance dogs in training until they are ready to be placed with a Handler. Fosters are required to attend a weekly training session. PTSD Dogs Australia provide all the guidance, equipment, food and care needed for the dogs at no cost to the foster. This is a special volunteering role as we are looking for people to house and train the dog for the duration of their trainingapprox 12 months. There is a weekly training session which fosters must attend in the morning for 2 hours (currently a Tuesday). Having an interest in learning about dog training is certainly an advantage.
