What You''ll Do Help with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) Provide respite care (giving our clients carers a break) Help clients stay active and connected in their community Follow care plans to meet each person''s needs Work as a team to provide the best support possible Benefits Salary packaging Get up to $15,900 taxfree per year to increase your takehome pay Retail discounts Save money at 700+ stores Fitness Plus Extra pay on leave 17.5% leave loading on annual leave Additional pay per km for client visits Career growth Opportunities to move into Residential Care or Community Services Qualifications and Requirements Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services at this moment in time, we cant consider you if you dont have one of these qualifications Have a caring nature be genuinely passionate about helping people Have excellent communication skills youll be able to chat, engage and interact with clients and your colleagues Have a valid Australian drivers licence and access to a reliable, fully insured car Have a Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one) Have a First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one) It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
