We are seeking a warm and nurturing, dependable and professional nanny to support a small family with a newborn child. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, reliable, and capable of managing the daily routine with kindness and patience. Your main responsibility will be the day-to-day care of a newborn baby during working hours, ensuring a stable routine, ageappropriate stimulation, and a positive atmosphere at home. You will need to support the baby''s developmental milestones through gentle, engaging activities, maintain a consistent routine and daily log of feeds, naps, and milestones, prepare and sterilise bottles, maintain baby-related supplies and equipment, and ensure a safe, hygienic, and supportive environment at all times. Responsibilities Newborn Care: Provide attentive and nurturing care for a newborn baby, including feeding, changing, bathing, and comforting. Child Development: Engage the baby in ageappropriate activities that stimulate their development. Household Support: Assist with light household tasks related to the baby, such as laundry and tidying play areas. Outdoor Activities: Participate in and encourage outdoor activities with the baby, embracing a naturefocused lifestyle. Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the baby as they grow. Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the baby at all times. Requirements Previous experience working with newborns. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education. Current Advanced First Aid & CPR Certificates, including Anaphylaxis, Asthma and Education & Care. Setting First Aid (HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011 & HLTAID012). Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check). Current Police Criminal History check if the above was obtained over 12 months ago. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A genuine love for children and a proactive approach to their care. Ability to commit to a longterm position.
