We are a major grower and processor of eggs and valueadded egg products operating 9 company farms and maintaining 2 major grading and processing facilities.What''s the job?This is a permanent position where you will be carrying out hands on maintenance, servicing, and repairs of farm equipment, packing machinery, buildings and infrastructure. You will ensure that equipment and infrastructure are kept in good working condition while reporting to the Farms Group Maintenance Manager. This position does require travel and some overnight away stays. You will also require a full Australian Driver''s License.Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of farm equipment, egg collection systems, and machinery.Assist with the upkeep of farm infrastructure such as aviary/cage systems, buildings, and fences.Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.Communicate effectively with the Manager to ensure all spare parts or materials that are required are ordered.Comply with all safety procedure, company policies and compliance requirement.Experience with poultry farming equipment and infrastructure is an advantage.There will be onthejob training, and we support training opportunities for our workers.Please note: Due to our strict biosecurity requirements, you must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at home and be willing to maintain our quarantine policy and procedures. You must also not live with anyone who has contact with these species.
