Our Position Rockcote has Fulltime Production Operator positions available with an immediate start, to work in our texture and paint manufacturing plant at our Yandina factory. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including weighing and measuring raw materials as per batch cards, mixing, decanting into buckets, quality testing and stacking pallets. The hours of work are 5:00am3:00pm, Monday to Thursday, so you can enjoy a 3day weekend every week! This is a permanent fulltime role, starting at $30.36 per hour, with the opportunity to continually increase your hourly rate by meeting competency levels. About You A positive attitude with ability to take directions Reliability Accuracy and safe handling of raw materials Professional approach and collaborative working manner Physically fit & strong with the ability to handle heavy & repetitive lifting up to 25kg Ability to operate heavy machinery Sound literacy, reading and numeracy abilities to record data Knowledge of Safe Work Practices Experience in a similar manufacturing environment is desirable Forklift ticket is an advantage, but is not essential We are a family owned and operated business located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, promoting a positive workplace culture, supporting a healthy work/life balance.
