About the Roles Due to growth and internal progression were looking for committed and dynamic people to join our retail & trade team at our Edmonton store. These are highly active roles, youll assist with counter sales, loading orders, picking and packing, and manual handling of goods. Please note our store is open 7 days, weekend work will be required on a rostered basis Responsibilities Prior experience with retail sales, & customer service, hardware, or within the building industry is advantageous. These roles are well suited to individuals with confidence, who enjoy working with people. Retail Assistant Extensive customer service including sales Picking & packing orders Working in a safe manner at all times Undertake regular product training with market leading brands Yard Person Handling of all stock ensuring it is done in a manner to minimise damage and wastage Maintain store in a clean and safe manner adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines Ensure orders are prepared on time and in full to meet customer requirements Supervisor Be responsible for leading a positive safety and workplace culture Monitoring stock levels to ensure supply and demand needs are met Provide training, coaching, and development to all team members Be an active leader and promote effective branch communication Qualifications & Skills Brilliant customer service skills Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy Computer literacy and strong numeracy skills Genuine commitment to Safety and Company values Forklift Essential for Yard Person Perks Staff and Fuel discount schemes offered Everyone gets paid to take a day off for their birthday Uniform provided, so you can look the part Ongoing training with plenty of opportunities for people with the right attitude EAP Employee Assistance Program We are an equal opportunity employer with a zero tolerance to Drugs and Alcohol in the workplace and conduct regular random workplace testing.
