About The Role Join a highperforming beef processing operation as our Quality Officer in Charge on our Afternoon shift. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and market access. If youre an experienced Quality professional with AUSMEAT accreditation and a passion for accuracy, continuous improvement, and regulatory excellence, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the AUSMEAT Accredited Officer in Charge, ensuring full compliance with the Australian Meat Industry Language & Standards. - Maintain continuous audit readiness for AUSMEAT, DAFF/competent authority, and major export market requirements. - Lead and enhance HACCP, GMP, GHP, and AA/BRCGSbased Quality Management Systems across slaughter, boning, chilling, packing, and dispatch. - Oversee carcass and carton integrity, yield/classification accuracy, and correct cut/coding usage. - Manage product description, NLIS/traceability, labelling, brand/ticket control, and certification issuance. - Direct microbiological, residue, and environmental monitoring, trend analysis, investigations, and CAPA implementation. - Supervise and mentor QA and inspection teams; deliver training on AUSMEAT standards, SOPs, and competency requirements. - Partner with Operations to strengthen sanitation, foreign matter control, hygienic design, and coldchain performance. About You - AUSMEAT Accredited - Strong knowledge of export redmeat standards, classification systems, and market access requirements. - Experience leading QA/QC teams in a meat processing environment. - Deep working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, and exportfocused QMS. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problemsolving skills. - Ability to lead pragmatically and empower team members. - Showcase our core values by leading with example.
