With a strong and sustained project pipeline and a consistently high volume of tender activity, we are evolving our structure to strengthen bid performance, strategic positioning and pursuit discipline. We are now seeking an experienced Head of Bids & Proposals to lead our NSW Fitout & Refurbishment bid function and play a critical role in converting a robust pipeline into high-quality, successful outcomes. The Role This is a senior, outcome-focused role with clear accountability for end-to-end bid and tender performance. You will lead the strategic shaping of pursuits across a healthy, forward-looking pipeline, ensuring quality, consistency and discipline across multiple concurrent tenders. This role is intentionally focused on bid excellence, conversion and governance, aligned to the scale and pace of FDCs current and future workload. Key Responsibilities Own and lead end-to-end bid and tender performance across NSW F&R, aligned to a strong and active pipeline Shape strategic positioning and compelling narratives for Tier 1 and strategic pursuits Establish and maintain governance, review discipline and quality control across a high volume of concurrent bids Partner early with senior leaders to shape pursuits from pipeline through to submission Lead, mentor and develop the bids and proposals team to sustainably support pipeline demand Provide visibility of the bid pipeline, reporting, insights and continuous improvement Reduce fragmentation and improve consistency across pursuits as the pipeline continues to grow About You You are a senior bid, marketing or communications leader with a strong track record in shaping and winning complex pursuits. You bring strategic thinking, commercial judgement and execution discipline, and are comfortable operating in fast-paced environments supported by a strong, active and sustained pipeline of work. You will likely have: Senior experience leading bids, proposals, marketing or communications within construction, property, professional services or a similar project-based environment A proven ability to shape compelling narratives and positioning for major pursuits within a competitive pipeline Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how bids convert pipeline into revenue Confidence partnering with senior leaders to prioritise and shape pursuits across a live pipeline A structured, calm leadership style that drives quality, consistency and accountability at scale Experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams in high-volume environments You are motivated by winning the right work, improving how bids are run, and creating sustainable systems that support a strong pipeline without compromising quality.
