Queensland Hydro Lead, Stakeholder EngagementImbil, Hervey Bay & Fraser Coast QLD (Hybrid)Queensland Hydro is a publicly owned entity delivering longduration pumped hydro energy storage to support Queenslands transition to a reliable, affordable and sustainable energy system.What Youll DoAs Lead, Stakeholder Engagement you will provide oversight and leadership for stakeholder and community engagement activities for the Imbil QLD and surrounding communities to support successful project delivery. Reporting to the Manager, Stakeholder Engagement and Social Performance, you will bridge operational delivery and strategic planning, ensuring consistency, quality and responsiveness across all engagement activities.Design and implement engagement strategies, plans and campaigns aimed at building trust, securing social licence and addressing stakeholder concerns.Serve as the key initial contact for managing stakeholder relationships, sensitive matters and reputational risks, proactively developing and applying mitigation measures to address challenges.Provide timely, strategic advice to senior management on emerging risks and opportunities, recommending and helping implement mitigation strategies as needed.Regularly assess community perspectives and collect feedback, ensuring these insights are incorporated into project planning and decisionmaking processes.Promote a workplace culture that values collaboration, inclusivity and cultural respect, ensuring engagement activities reflect these principles.Who You AreTo succeed in this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, social sciences or a related disciplineor possess an equivalent combination of qualifications and extensive experience in communications and stakeholder engagement.
