Our client is a leading NDIS provider in the top end and is seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to contribute to their mission of delivering high-quality, person-centered services. About Your New Role As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of their clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients with varying care needs, from short-term involvement to complex, long-term requirements. Your responsibilities will include : Conducting a range of assessments such as Sensory Profile, Functional Assessments, Cognitive Functional Assessments, and Multi-disciplinary Assessments (e.g., FASD, Motor Skills Assessment, Housing and Support Needs Assessments). Developing comprehensive reports based on your assessments. Collaborating with individuals, families, and carers to establish Occupational Therapy goals. Creating tailored intervention plans to address identified needs. Providing Occupational Therapy support across various settings, including homes, communities, schools, clinics, and through telehealth when appropriate. Developing individualized resources and implementing effective strategies to support clients. Delivering training sessions for parents, carers, and support workers as needed. Participating in Care Team Meetings and offering OT-specific input to ensure holistic client care. What You Will Need To be successful in this role, you will need : A Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Occupational Therapy.(desired but not essential) Current registration with the relevant professional association. Proven experience in conducting assessments and developing intervention plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Flexibility to work in various settings and utilize telehealth resources. A commitment to delivering person-centered care and promoting independence and well-being. A current Ochre Card, NDIS Worker Screener Clearance, Criminal History Check, First Aid Certificate, and an Australian Driver''s License.
