About the Role Delivering prevocational medical education in alignment with PMCV, ACF, AMC, and National Training Standards. Supporting workforce capability development and accreditation standards. Enhancing training programs, orientation, and clinical supervision of junior medical staff. Facilitating professional growth, mentoring, and career development opportunities. The Medical Education Officer (MEO) / Coordinator (MEC) facilitates, coordinates, and delivers high-quality medical education and training programs for prevocational doctors (PGY1, PGY2, IMGs, HMOs not in vocational training), as well as supporting the broader medical workforce. Working closely with senior clinicians, clinical supervisors, the Director of Medical Services, and the Learning Services team, this role ensures structured orientation, training, and professional development in line with national standards and accreditation requirements. Duties Liaison between the health service and the university Orientation of students on placement at CGH to the health service Development of clinical placement timetables for year levels / disciplines Maintenance of clinical placement guides to structure students'' learning on placement Attendance at university meetings as required Qualifications, Skills and Experience Relevant qualification in nursing, medicine, education, or health sciences. Demonstrated experience in medical education coordination or clinical teaching. Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. Understanding of PMCV, AMC, and university accreditation standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and education database systems.
