Job Description

Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in the delivery of cleaning, maintenance, grounds, and garden services to school administration buildings, classrooms, outdoor areas, ablutions, change rooms, common rooms, and other areas. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you''ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services and achieve contractual obligations around safety, performance, quality, communications and special school projects. What Youll Do (key responsibilities) Supervise and coordinate daily site operations including cleaning, grounds keeping, and general maintenance Ensure all works are completed safely and to The Downer Standard Conduct routine inspections, stocktakes, and audits to ensure compliance with service agreements What Youll Bring (experience required) Previous experience in site, facility, or contractor management (desirable) Background in maintenance, cleaning, or building operations (desirable) Understanding of OH&S regulations Current Drivers License (mandatory) Good communication and interpersonal skills Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks Why Downer?
