Solutions Architect Insurance Transformation Join Davidson Technology Consulting as a Solutions Architect. Our boutique, expert-led consultancy is on a mission to help organisations drive lasting change through high-performing technology solutions. Youll work alongside senior transformation leaders in a hybrid environment in Brisbane (3 days in office) on a multi-year technology transformation for a leading Australian bank. The role is a handson contract where you will document artefacts, create architectural guardrails, and enable delivery teams to move fast while maintaining control. What youll do Create an end-to-end view of the technology estate (current, interim and target states). Produce a transition architecture covering systems, integrations, data flows, domains and business capabilities. Shape a month roadmap aligned to outcomes (e.g., faster recoverytowork outcomes, reduced risk) with clear technical dependencies and sequencing. Provide solution architecture leadership across major initiatives that include: CRM Policy/claims platforms Integration & data platforms (APIs, ESB, eventdriven approaches) Partner with the Design Assurance Lead to embed architecture into assurance checkpoints and decision records (ADRs). Communicate complex architecture in plain English to executives and delivery teams. What were looking for 8+ years in Solution / Enterprise Architecture roles, ideally within insurance or broader financial services. Proven experience delivering multiyear transformation roadmaps and transition architectures across multiple systems and integration patterns. Strong documentation capability produce practical artefacts that teams actually use. Handson experience with at least one of: Core policy/claims or admin platforms Experience in regulated or governmentadjacent environments (a plus) Tertiary qualification in IT, CS, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
