We are seeking for aHead of Business Developmentin the FX / CFD industry to build and lead a small Sydney-based team, strengthen client and partner relationships and drive growth across the Australian market.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a regulated environment, enjoys leading teams and has a strong track record of developing partnerships and achieving measurable commercial outcomes.Role OverviewIn this role, you will oversee sales operations, manage business development activities and ensure high-level service for clients and partners.You will work closely with internal departments to support growth initiatives and maintain adherence to all relevant regulatory obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, guide and support a small business development team.Monitor team performance and drive improvements on a weekly and monthly basis.Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions and provide performance updates.Coordinate quarterly client-focused activities and engagement events.Business Development & PartnershipsPromote the organisation''s products and offerings within the Sydney market in line with commercial objectives.Identify, recruit and manage new partnerships through calls, online meetings, face-to-face interactions and participation in local industry events.Grow wholesale relationships using existing retail client data where appropriate.Build and maintain a pipeline of leads from local networking and industry engagements.Client Relationship ManagementMaintain strong communication with key clients and partners across Australia.Ensure service levels meet expectations and support long-term retention.Develop and implement initiatives designed to enhance team productivity and maximise ROI.Collaborate with marketing teams to execute targeted campaigns aimed at acquisition and retention.Monitor onboarding processes and elevate potential risks where required.What We''re Looking ForMinimum 3 years'' experience in the FX / CFD sector, ideally in IB, affiliate, sales or business development leadership roles.Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, finance or similar.Strong knowledge of ASIC regulations, AFSL obligations and compliant sales / marketing practices.Experience working with Australian retail, wholesale or professional clients and industry partners.Confident communicator with strong analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills.Ability to lead a small team and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with sales pipelines, partnership structures and data-driven strategy.Willingness to travel interstate or internationally when required.Please submit yourCV,cover letterand a6-month business planoutlining your approach to initiating growth, managing partnerships and leading team performance in a regulated environment.We appreciate your patience while our hiring team completes the review process.Shortlisted applicants will be contacted over the coming weeks.Only Australian citizens and permanent residents will be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
