Responsibilities Maintaining a timely delivery of property claims outcomes which meet or exceed the customer expectations throughout the life of a claim. Liaising with claimants, repairers and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision making and life of claim outcomes. Assessing indemnity, liability of claims, costs and the validity of building and remediation scope of works; assessing remediation and making safe claims and costs. Reviewing building and remediation cause of damage reports including geotechnical and structural engineering reports. Identifying defects and noncompliance repairs utilising Australian Standards and National Construction Code. Qualifications Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF. Extensive property assessing and customer service experience. Comprehensive technical knowledge of theories and practices of Insurance and loss. Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands. Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
