Tropical resort in Darwin CBD is seeking a full-time Maintenance General Hand to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective maintenance services across our resort facilities to ensure a high standard of presentation and functionality is maintained at all times. What youll be doing Performing general maintenance and handyperson duties including repairs, painting, beautification works etc. Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the resort''s buildings, grounds, and equipment Responding promptly to maintenance requests and completing tasks in a timely manner Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures Collaborating with other departments to identify and action continuous improvement opportunities What were looking for Experience in a similar maintenance or general handyperson role. Trade experience highly regarded. Excellent customer service and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner Effective communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and employ a high level of problem solving Ability to work a 4 days on, 4 days off* roster including weekends and public holidays A long term employee who wishes to stay in Darwin for 2+ years About us Join our market leading team in the heart of Darwin.
