We''re looking for a Caf Supervisor to help lead our team, working in our social enterprise cafe in Warragul, ensuring a welcoming, high-quality caf experience while mentoring and supporting our team members to achieve their employment goals. About the Role As a Caf Supervisor, youll be undertaking Barista / Cafe duties while overseeing daily operations of a small team and creating a warm and inclusive environment. Key responsibilities include: Food Preparation & Service Assist with preparing simple menu items eg toasties, oversee food quality, and ensure food safety compliance. Team Leadership & Supervision Allocate tasks, support skill development, and provide handson coaching to Supported Employees. Customer Experience Lead by example in service excellence, coffee making, and order processing. Operations & Teamwork Maintain stock levels, oversee caf cleanliness, and collaborate with the wider Knoxbrooke team. About You You are passionate about great coffee and you thrive in a team environment and enjoy supporting others to succeed. You have: A passion for mentoring and empowering people with diverse abilities (experience working with people with a disability is an advantage, but not essential). The ability to build great relationships with customers. Strong communication skills and a handson, teamfocused approach. The ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems proactively. First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certification. Experience in staff supervision and using POS systems. Full Australian working rights. Minimum 2 COVID19 vaccinations or valid medical exemption.
