The Opportunity : We are seeking machine operator''s for full time on afternoon shift at our Virginia site . This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems and has the competency to run machinery and equipment. Home of the Shapes, Jatz and also Cheds!! The Accountabilities : Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnotts OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards Working on highly automated machinery, experience in a similar role is required ( FMCG is preferred) Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas Mechanically minded with exposure to manual handling Support your crew with product change over''s and line shut downs The Ingredients for Success : Just like you cant make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role; Previous machine operating experience required, preferable within a FMCG environment Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to troubleshoot on machines as well as an understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles Effective communication skills The ability to manual handle up to 20kg Able to work afternoon shifts from Monday - Friday with overtime when applicable (2 : 30pm starts) Culture and Perks : We stand for high performance with integrity and find moments of pride and celebrate the wins gained from our collective effort.
