This position plays a critical role in protecting Defence personnel, assets, and infrastructure through proactive patrols, access management, and strong on-site presence.You will operate in a complex and sensitive environment where professionalism, discretion, and situational awareness are essential. More than just a frontline role, this is your chance to be part of a team contributing directly to Australia''s national security.About you:Australian Citizenship required for Defence security clearance eligibilityA current Security Licence valid in NSWBaseline Defence Clearance or must be willing to obtain a Baseline ClearanceExcellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with Defence personnel and site stakeholdersThe ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisionsA strong sense of integrity, accountability, and attention to detailDuties:Access Control Monitoring entry and exit points to ensure only authorised personnel are permitted on site.Foot Patrols Conducting regular patrols to maintain situational awareness and deter potential threats.Stakeholder Liaison Building rapport with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while delivering a strong security presence.Incident Response Reacting promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious behaviour.Compliance Monitoring Ensuring site protocols and Defence security procedures are always followed.Reporting & Documentation Accurately recording incidents, shift activities and observations in accordance with site requirements.Veterans encouraged to apply.How to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person.
