Our Position Rockcote has a full time Production Operator position available with an immediate start, to work in our cement based render manufacturing plant at our Yandina factory. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including measuring raw materials as per batch card instructions, dispensing raw materials, operating the production line, preparing and loading bags into the bagging machine, quality testing and stacking pallets. You will rotate shifts each week, morning shift 5:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday one week and afternoon shift 1:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Thursday the next. Working a 76 hour/9 day fortnight allows you to enjoy a long weekend every fortnight. This is a permanent full-time role, starting at $29.50 per hour plus 15% shift loading on all 76 hours (total $33.93 per hour), with the opportunity to continually increase your hourly rate by meeting competency levels. About You You must be able to demonstrate the following experience, abilities and personal attributes: A positive attitude with ability to take directions Reliability Accuracy and safe handling of raw materials Professional approach and collaborative working manner Physically fit & strong with the ability to lift up to 25kg Ability to operate heavy machinery Sound literacy, reading and numeracy abilities to record data Safety focused and comfortable wearing a respirator Experience in a similar manufacturing environment is desirable Forklift ticket and Front End Loader ticket are highly regarded Above award wages are paid with the opportunity to continually increase your hourly rate by meeting competency levels.
