Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems and know when to seek manager support. Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence and own an insured, roadworthy vehicle. Possess Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability. Have 6+ months experience in a similar role, including personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication administration. The role As a Care Worker you will provide agedcare clients with home help and personal care services: Home help services General housekeeping and making beds Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors Washing, folding and ironing laundry Meal preparation and grocery shopping Personal care services Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering and dressing Administer medications and manage medication schedules Facilitate mobility and therapy goals Provide complex care for clients with high needs, including dementia care Offer social and emotional support Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments Support families to have a break or other tasks Why choose Silverchain Accredited against national health and agedcare standards.
