Personal Support Worker Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia About The Role As a personal support worker, you will directly be supporting our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries with daily tasks in their homes. Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required. Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene. Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management. Basic wound care and selfmedication. Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry. Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities. Essential Skills and Qualifications Experience in disability or aged care is not required full training will be provided. A valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle. A smartphone device. Hold, or be willing to obtain, an NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card. NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
