Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. Key Responsibilities Safely, efficiently and effectively distribute pharmaceuticals during weekends across wards and departments. Support medication supply, preparation of sterile and nonsterile products, and accurate dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Assist with inpatient and outpatient dispensing, including specialised programs such as S100, SAS, and clinical trials. Prepack and label pharmaceuticals, maintain detailed and tidy records, and keep equipment clean and in working order. Prepare resuscitation trays, nonsterile products, and, after training, sterile products. Maintain good relationships with team members and contribute to a supportive pharmacy environment. What You Will Bring To The Role Successfully completed a qualification recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or up to the level of Certificate III in Hospital and Community Pharmacy, or an equivalent nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate (IV). Demonstrated ability to work in a busy environment with strong timemanagement skills. Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to integrate well with team staff. Previous Australian Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
