The role An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working employee to join our inclusive Adbri Cement production team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor on a rotating 12-hour shift roster (2 days on, 2 nights on, then 4 days off) you will be responsible for ensuring the optimum operation of production assets, completing critical plant checks within site procedures, and ensuring safety, environment, quality and production targets are met. Work with the Production Supervisor and other team members to respond to operating plant issues and ensure plant delays are minimised. Engage in training to multi-skill to enable the operator to work in all operational aspects including plant isolation''s, permit issuing, kiln and cement mill processing, central control room operations and ship loading procedures. Comply with daily Operation Plans Ensure operational standards, policies and procedures are followed. Safely operate heavy mobile equipment What you will need to succeed High level of commitment to safety, quality and the environment. Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to obtain or currently hold an HR licence and to operate mobile equipment. Willingness to work in physically demanding environments, including hot work and confined spaces. Positive "Can Do" attitude and great interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships. Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
