About the Role As a Production Manager, youll oversee endtoend milling operations and lead a team to deliver operational excellence for our new Ballarat site. Key Responsibilities Managing daily production operations to meet demand forecasts and optimise output. Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and leading quality audits and incident management. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. Collaborating with maintenance teams to maintain equipment reliability and minimise downtime. Leading and developing your team to build capability and engagement. Promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. Working crossfunctionally to ensure smooth production flow, accurate reporting, and datadriven decisionmaking. The Suitable Candidate Will Possess You will bring a formal milling qualification (such as City & Guilds or IAOM coursework) and experience in food manufacturing or grain milling operations. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, operational systems, and digital tools is essential, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to engage and develop teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management, analytical problemsolving, and experience in continuous improvement and change management are critical.
