Senior Research Fellow, Proteomics Facility Manager Proposed compensation: A$138,124.00/yr - A$158,885.00/yr The Senior Research Fellow, Proteomics Facility Manager will lead cuttingedge research in proteomics while managing the daytoday operations of the Proteomics Facility. This role combines scientific leadership with operational oversight, including equipment management, staff training, financial planning, and strategic development. The successful candidate will drive research excellence, foster collaborations, secure external funding, and contribute to building the University''s national and international reputation. Responsibilities Lead and deliver highquality, innovative proteomics research, securing external grants and publishing in toptier journals. Oversee the effective management and development of the Proteomics Facility, including equipment maintenance and upgrades. Provide training and mentorship to staff, students and HDR candidates, ensuring safe and effective use of facility resources. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, government and research organisations to expand research impact. About You You are an accomplished researcher with deep expertise in proteomics and a proven ability to lead complex projects. You thrive in collaborative environments, demonstrate exceptional technical skills, and have a track record of securing research funding and delivering impactful outcomes. Your leadership and mentoring capabilities enable you to guide teams and students toward success while driving innovation in methodology and facility development. PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field with extensive proteomics research experience. Advanced expertise in mass spectrometry techniques and data analysis software. Strong track record of highquality publications and success in attracting competitive grants. Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills with experience mentoring HDR students.
